Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Connect the TMOHS1 by USB cable (input 5VDC). Did you see all the lights coming on when you first insert the battery? Wait a few seconds and the light should go out. Quickly remove the battery and confirm that you are still getting data.

If you don't see all the lights coming on, then remove the battery and check the battery voltage with a voltmeter. Look for a - and + terminals on the battery. Nominal voltage for starting is around 3.8VDC. If the voltage is too low, then connect three 1.5VDC batteries in series and apply this voltage to the - and + terminals of the TMOHS1 (with battery inserted in TMOHS1).
Is it possible to just purchase a replacement battery? I haven't been able to find one.

Does anyone who bought a m2100 seem to think its sort of creaky? It doesnt seem to be very well built.
I think it's ok. To me it feels as if there is a lot of open space on the inside.

OK I just got shot down on Facebook support. The lady said she can't do it. I have to do it either on the app or on the website. On the app, I do see a section called "Media Settings". But when I click that, it says "This line is not eligible for media settings". There's nothing under "Add ons" to add HDPass. This blows haha!

I guess I'll try again on Facebook tomorrow.

It might have helped that I had another line with the feature already added. I can't tell you why it seems impossible for some reps and easy peasy for others. Both times I've had it added it felt like the easiest thing for them to do. The other times it felt like what I was asking was impossible. That one agent that wouldn't do it unless I was an authorized user just needs to be retrained. Basically, she has a reason to never assist anybody.

I'm almost positive that they can see the prior conversations on Twitter and Facebook. So they could keep rejecting me on just that. I'll try today and then if I don't get it added, probably try and cancel the plan. I have an ATT Mobley plan and use that, with this being a backup plan. But I stream video so want that HD Pass activated. Without it, it's worthless to me.

I went through all the drama you went through... long story short... Go to Facebook support. Don't waste your time with Tmobile support and going into the store. They just don't have the option to add it. I was in the store with the rep and we painstakingly went through every single option available and it jut isn't there.
OK you are indeed correct. Just takes the right person to add it. Took less than 5 minutes just now. Not sure why some reps can't or don't add it. Was rejected at first on Twitter and Facebook. There's simply no reason for it. Oh well I'm good now. Thanks for the tip!

Hey guys, I just signed up for a new line but I don't know for sure if I'm still eligible for the autopay discount.
In the description above, it seems unavailable anymore but someone in another community said he got confirmation of an autopay discount by reaching out to the business manager.
I also talked with tmo rep via twitter, but they still ask me to login their website, even though I have not received a phone number for the registration.

Is there anyone who could give me an advice for the additional $5 autopay discount, please? I'm trying to find similar thing but it's hard to look up more than 4k comments.

There's no autopay discount on this plan. It's a flat $10 a month (plus taxes/fees on tax excluded accounts).

Whoever advised you of an autopay discount on this plan is mistaken. There's no way to get any additional discounts on this plan.

Hmm well, there are some dp in the reddit that were able to register autopay after order and confirmed the discount on the tmo rep's tablet.
Anyway, thanks for your comment. Appreciated it

Yeah, but the $5 discount never showed up on their Bill.

I've been chatting with T-Mobile on Facebook for the last two hours trying to get HDVPASS0 added to my plan. It's been agonizingly slow, with them taking like 20 minutes for each response.

The agent just told me the following: "Just wanted to circle back and let you know we are still here for you. I attempted to get the following added: [HDVPASS0 was omitted here in their message, but they confirmed in another message they meant to include it]

and received an error. I can triple check with my leadership to see if there's any way we're able to do on this end without engaging Business Care.

Let's try that to see if that helps at all. Lastly, I do want to let you know I'll be stepping away just until the top of the hour for a meeting. I anticipate on responding when I return, but if you need immediate assistance, I respect your time and want to be sure our team has full ownership of this."

Anyone have any thoughts on what the problem is and why they're getting an error?

After calling in as well as using T-Mo chat with both attempts striking out several weeks ago, I had success this evening with Twitter @TMobileHelp. I simply DM'd a single message asking them to add SOC code HDVPASS0 for HD Video, along with my account#, line phone# and other account details. The bot asked me to authenticate the account via T-mo login / 2FA code via email, and in 35 minutes a reply showed up that it had been added. I haven't actually tried using the tablet yet as I don't have it with me but account activity shows 'New Session Based Pass Added at exactly the time of the reply.
