Does it monitor energy per port?

Yes, it monitors energy for each individual power outlets. There's no energy monitoring for the USB ports and no on/off switches for the USB ports.

Yes, it's like having six individual energy-monitoring smart plugs/switches in one power strip! Only "drawback" is that they are all so close together, but these are perfect for an entertainment center (TV, cable box, streaming box, HTPC, etc) or computer workstation (PC, printers, modem, router, etc).

Six KP115s (individual energy-monitoring plugs) would run you $138 on Amazon right now!

I saw Kasa put coupons on some of their other stuff today as well. On this strip at least they didn't raise the price when adding the coupon like they did with most of the other stuff. I've been eyeing the 3-pack light switch [amazon.com] waiting for a deal and they raised the price by $5 while sticking a $6 coupon on it today. I supposed it's $1 better than yesterday, but still annoying that they did that.

The Kasa platform is being replaced by something else, that is why you'll see many Kasa posts on SD now.

I heard rumors of Kasa going away soon. Any chance all these will die after that?

With what? I have absolutely zero complaints about my Kasa products. Every light switch and outlet in my house is a Kasa and the things just work flawlessly.

Wow does that mean all my Kasa products will not longer work?

This has a clamping voltage of 600V. This seems pretty high and it probably won't do much as an actual surge protector.
