This is likely too small for most commercial router lifts. It's a tad too small. Check your lift before buying.

Is there an affordable plunge adapter for this?

I've been waiting for a deal on a Bosch EV1617PK but haven't seen anything in a while. This Metabo deal keeps coming around.

AFAIK they don't sell the plunge base separately. They have a kit that includes the plunge base along with the fixed base and there are deals on that from time to time. I use these Hitachi/Metabo motors in my CNC but have no use for the bases. When I've bought kits, I've flipped the bases on CL or Ebay so, you might want to check there.

Thanks. Ended up getting one. I need a router sled for a project and but only have an old Craftsman 1HP router with a 1/4" collet, so this will at least help with that. Maybe I'll mount it to a table after I'm done and still look out for the Bosch plunge kit.
