Thanks - purchased Quicken Deluxe for $26.99.
I had been watching the sale prices for a few weeks - common price was/is $31.19 but was holding out for better. Last year I purchased Quicken Deluxe from newegg for $20 but my 1-year subscription is expiring in 2 weeks and cannot wait much longer.

In the past--I've let mine expire and then renew it around the 3 month and was able to download all transactions from the bank. It gives you an extra 3 months if you don't need it on a monthly basis. It depends on how many months of downloads your bank allows. I think most are at least 90 days.

Been using it for many years. It's good if you have accounts in multiple places and like the ease of having transactions downloaded for easy reconciliation.

Yes I know, Quicken can't maintain a data file properly. Nothing wrong with my machine. You would think the software would be intelligent enough to pick that up. I just refreshed from a backup a few days ago and 2nd time went around fine.

I use the Home & Business app. It does fine for simple invoices, but doesn't really do payroll, taxes, etc. So, if you can manage your business with simple register accounts, then it works well. I would never use it for inventory control, payroll, and any sort of good P&L reporting.
