Samsung has increased its trade in amounts and the S22 Ultra 128GB can be bought for $199, with trade in of an S21 Ultra. They also give you $100 in credit for accessories, so KIND OF $99.

I traded in my s21 ultra128gb for $700 only. Oh well. But the math comes out to be about the same as the pre-order since it's free upgrade to 256GB. The is a big difference in RAM. 128GB has only 8GB RAM vs 256GB has 12 GB RAM. My old s21 ultra already had 12GB (yeah, Samsung downgraded the S22ultra on 128GB).

Dont trade a s21 ultra for this. You go from 12gb to 8gb of ram and the phone is pretty much the same otherwise. I paid $83 via att employee discount to upgrade to the 256 gb s22 ultra and its been a waste. No noticible difference minus worse battery and andriod auto now disconnects constantly.

I have had horrible experiences with Samsung trade in. So, I have decided never again.

I am not sure why there is thumb down
I traded my s20 FE for 550
added 4 dollar to get the bud 2 (will sell for at least $80 on offer up)
*bates had 10% cb
total I pay today including tax is 750 for 256gb s22 ultra
but after the cb and selling buds 2, I will be paying aroud $600 net for a s22 ultra 256gb. I would say this is a very good deal.

I'd be very wary of the 8gb RAM version of this phone. Complaints are rampant on the S22 Ultra XDA forums with owners dealing with extreme lag, freezes and other RAM related issues.

I own the 12gb t-mobile version since launch and have had non of these issues.
