I watch gamers nexus all the time I wish they would put a value on the pc's they review and show what upgrades you can do if you do purchase one.
The reason they rate them so badly is because they pay msrp for them, if you can save 1k+ on one.. there must be some way to make the cooling better on these.
would be nice to know their opinion on when it is ok to pull the trigger on one.

Just by your reply I can tell you haven't watched the video I linked. The video alone answers everything you just said
Nowhere in the video do they mention how much these PC's should be priced and what can be done to make the airflow better.
I had purchased an XPS 8940 awhile back which they also had a crappy review for.. but I only paid $650 for it (with an i5 11th gen and a 1660 super) (their review unit was $1700.. something like that.. who on slickdeals will pay that)
It was not bad for $650 after replacing the cpu cooler and adding thermal pads to the gpu.
