Step 1) Buy LG V30 on eBay for $50 in flawless condition

Step 2) Root it and install Android 11 on it

Step 3) Enjoy all the features it has that are better than the Nord N200

Step 4) Instead of buying a yearly plan for ~$15/month through an MVNO, pay T-Mobile ludicrous amounts for their garbage plans so you can get a statement credit and a new Oneplus Nord N200.

Hard pass.

You'll still have to pay shipping and tax on the new phone. Comes out to $20-$30 depending on your sales tax. Just FYI

Are they sending you a box label/ or something so you can to send your old phones back to them? TIA
They do provide the return shipping label. As for box, you can probably use the box that the Nord N200 came in with. (They send you new phones in a box inside another brown box. I used this brown box with some of my own bubble warp.)

I've had this phone for close to a year now and t-mobile still won't unlock it for me. It's sitting in a drawer taking up space.

Is your phone paid off (i.e. no longer financed) and has been active on their network for 40 days? Those are the two main requirements for unlocking [t-mobile.com].

I got if for free after a bogus trade in...I guess they are still "crediting" a monthly amount back to my account, and no, I've never used the phone with my t-mobile plan.

I have a Motorola G7 Play on a prepaid with T-Mobile. They sent me a txt saying I have until July 1st to trade in my 3G cp with IMEI xxxx for a free 5G One Plus N200. I went to the store and walked away with an N200. It was a hassle-free, cost-free, no-contract trade-in experience.
Do you need to show the prepaid text from T-Mobile to get this deal

You purchased the phone and are financing it monthly. As part of the "free" promotion, T-Mobile is giving you a monthly promotional credit making the net monthly cost $0.

If you do want to unlock the phone, you need to pay off the balance of the phone price you purchased/financed and have it on the network for 40 days. There's really no way around those two requirements for unlocking. After paying off the finance balance, you will still receive the monthly promotional credits for the phone.

Is it normal to get a text saying: A quote $0 was accepted for your XXXXX device with serial number xxxxxxxxxxx.

Also, on Your Order history page, under trade in device TRADE-IN ASSESSMENT
Original estimated value:$0.00

Are both normally $0 ?
Yes, $0 is what you want. So you'll be getting the full $9 credit for 24 months.

was anyone able to trade in a flip phone with a dead battery (cannot hold a charge?)
So it doesn't hold up for maybe 10 minutes? If not, then just get it replaced I'm sure they're cheap.
