This is a pretty good price for a 280 AIO. But you'll want to factor in the cost of two good fans, as the included fans are quite loud. I used the Noctua Redux fans for mine.

Also, keep in mind you'll have to run the EVGA AIO software to control the pump speed. It plugs in via USB, and you can't just plug it into one of your fan headers to control it that way.
The fans can be plugged into another fan header.

I've bought two, would probably buy more if I needed them.
280mm rad = 2 x 140mm fans
240mm rad = 2 x 120mm fans

I'm using this cooler with my older 7700k. It keeps it cool, but not as cool as I'd like. Idles around 35C. I replaced the fans with Noctuas because the included fans are LOUD. Just a heads up.

100% agree. The EVGA fans are LOUD! They rattled my whole case at this lowest RPM in the EVGA app.

i'd be more curious of the temps of the 7700k when the CPUs are at max load.. i have a standard hyper212 that reaches about 75C on full load and the fans spin up pretty loud, that i'd be looking to replace with this.. its for a NAS so doesn't matter if its ugly haha

Been using this particular model for a couple of years so far.

Like the previous commenters stated get ready to change the fans out. Personally i bought the two pack of ML140s for it and they work great.

The only other issue is the software is kinda janky but works.

Lol sounds like a poor build. The cooler is 37dB at 1000rpm, pretty nice and quiet, its middle pf the pack ar 1500rpm and really only gets loud at max fan speed. Maybe try tightening your screws kn your case....

The fans are garbage. They are noisy at any speed other than off.

Thats a good idle temp for the 7700k. under a normal load it shouldnt be over 65c, i just jjust built a evga z270 ftwk 7700k build with a corsair 240mm aio and it hsad the same idle and under the cpu-z stress test only hit 61c @stock voltages/clocks
