Got the 50 inch for $272 few months back at Target. Not bad paying $26 more for the extra inches at $298 IMHO. Wanted the TV then and there so I have no regrets.

Great budget set for the price, even at $298 as seems to be the common discount here. It's definitely not worth MSRP, but at this price the performance is good. My son has the 50" 4 series and I've been rather impressed by it on several occasions. If you don't need all the bells and whistles and 120Hz refresh, this is a solid choice. I felt like the blacks and brightness were all above what I expected out of such an inexpensive TV.

Obviously these anecdotes are all super subjective. Go check out the TV (or another 4 series size) and see what you think for yourself, but personally I feel like this is a solid deal. Definitely slick if you can get it at $250, and still a decent deal at $298.

This is an otherwise identical Walmart version of the 55s435 that is $419 at Amazon.

My house is full of TCL Roku TVs, i wont buy any other brand/combination... maybe if money is no object and it was someone elses money id change my opinion.

Built in Roku interface is the best, roku is carrier agnostic and its the best value for the money.

Agree completely with this. I have an Apple TV 4k on the main, but roku tvs in every other room. Easy interface.
