That sounds like a lot of work! And you have to use Facebook. No thanks.

Probably because it's a complete pain in the ass to meet someone to do the exchange for $10. Not sure what your time is worth

I saw posted elsewhere that there would be a Ryobi Days promotion that also included HP tools. I'm gonna hold off for now in hopes that is true.

Anyone has experience with the 22" hedge trimmer? How well do those work for trimming overgrown weeds/ plants?
I have this trimmer (I think), and it works pretty well. I got it with a similar deal 2 years ago.

It was comparable to the 3.3A 24-inch corded Black and Decker model that I had bought just a few weeks before, but it had a little less reach because of the handle/motor configuration. I returned the BD and kept the Ryobi.

I don't think I cut anything more than 1/2", but it had no trouble with that.

Probably not a good tool for weeds, but should work very well for small shrubs. Hedges are YMMV depending on the size/age/species, as it would be with any other tool.

Deal only allows me to add the fogger and chemical sprayer and that's it...
Go to one of the tools here and add it and remove the sprayer, deal still applies.

That time of year again to have to decide need/want and if there is enough space to store all this stuff.

Nice, was able to order with the trimmer (which had to ship to store, batteries were in stock) for pickup and cancel the trimmer immediately.

2 batteries + charger for $51 after tax.

I primarily use Makita tools for anything precise or that I'm putting a lot of heavy duty use into, but I also have a lot of Ryobi tools for more specific one-off tasks that I can't justify spending the premium Makita markup.

That being said Ryobi is king of tools that we don't really need. How can someone justify buying a pruning reciprocating saw?

Get a pruning blade for your regular reciprocating saw, or buy a pair of Fiskars loppers, or a small one handled chainsaw. Absolutely no need for a dedicated pruning reciprocating saw other than because you started collecting tools.

Does anyone have the 13" trimmer/edger? I have a stihl trimmer and it's great...but wondering about the edging functionality in particular?

The hedge trimmer I have from Ryobi days and it works well.

Can't speak to use in dog crates. We have 4 clamp fans, the one you are referencing (7.5" or so?) and the air canon. Got my mother in law to get her own air canon for a cabin on a lake without AC. Would recommend any of their fans. Now are they better than other brands? Only ever used corded or like AA, AAA, or D battery fans. I'd say as good as corded and easier to keep track of a larger Ryobi battery vs regular batteries or something (we are ALWAYS out when we need anything not AA or AAA - Ryobi also don't roll away).

I was anti-batteries until I learned about Ryobi's depth of product line. Fans…wife now has a cordless glue gun. Obviously tools, lights. Have the USB adapter to make a battery into a massive backup phone/tablet battery. They keep coming up with new stuff, but, as an casual hobbyist woodworker, I can spend time on other hobbies while wood is so expensive. Also, Direct Tools Outlet is owned by the same parent company. Tons of even better deals. Factory blemished is their way of getting around Home Depot exclusivity, but brand new, same warranty, etc. It is about 50/50 it even has a factory blemish sticker on the box. Otherwise, wouldn't know if it came off the shelf from DTO or HD. Worth a look. As a semi-pro, probably don't need to replace as often. 2-3 times annually, you can get the 6 tool starter kit with batteries/chargers for $199, cheaper at DTO. It is many of our gateways into the endless Ryobi pit 😂
Most of my tools are Ridgid from DTO factory blemished so I know what you're saying. I would just prefer not to have to keep tabs on another battery charger that ill probably lose right before I need it for a competition. Ridgid seems to have similar fans that aren't much more expensive (with the LSA). It'd be much simpler just to grab one of my Ridgid batteries off the wall and go

Add the battery from the promotion link, then go directly to the TOOL ONLY version of the weed eater and add it. The promotional price will update. I just did it that way.

Yep, i bought a set of Milwaukee pruning blades for the Ryobi reciprocating saw and it goes through thick tree branches with like... no effort. Those things are amazing

Is this good in store? Items are showing in stock at a local store but it won't let me order online?
