That sounds like a lot of work! And you have to use Facebook. No thanks.

Probably because it's a complete pain in the ass to meet someone to do the exchange for $10. Not sure what your time is worth

I honestly not seeing anything I dont already have, or have a justifiable use for.

Maybe thats a good thing, or a bad thing, since my garage already looks like a shrine to Ryobi.

Thinking about doing the hack a couple times, and just picking up a few more batteries, and the angle grinder is the only one in my list of wants. I have corded ones, so I dont really need it.

I already bought a blower/edger combo with 1 battery from Direct Tools outlet, otherwise this would be a good deal for one tool with 2 batteries.

there is also this combo for $199 depending on where you choose to pick up. If you see a $200+ price, change your homedepot location. I'm keeping the 2 4ah batteries from the $99 deal and use them for the HP. All together about $250. I might also sell the drill, driver, 1.5ah, and light for about $100. Seems like a better deal?

Has anyone seen the right angle drill part of this deal? I haven't seen it and that's the one tool I could use and don't have. Thanks!

They canceled my entire order I had setup for store pickup even though the app said they had over 50 of each item in stock.

Edit: upon further investigation it looks like they just canceled the batteries and the tool is still pending. The sale price is still there so we'll see what happens.

Question Guys/Gals,

Probably a little "obtuse" of a question on my part.

Does anyone reckon the inverter would run a rotisserie attachment for my Weber Performer so I don't need to run an extension cord?
Certain I saw this confirmed somewhere before...but some of you more "handy-types"...would know for certain I imagine.

Thank you in advance!!! hug

My plan right now is to order the kit with the pruning reciprocating saw, return the saw for the $54ish dollars and buy the high/low volume inflator for $59. Is there are a better way to hack this?

When all the options are made available the best values are probably the multi tool or the full size reciprocating saw for basic tools.

For the ones people like the most people love the inflators and work lights apparently
Most of the actual tools are the lowest level in their lineup (and outdated). The multi tool is junk compared to the next model multi tool. Old take the spotlight or a fan over it. The more useful stuff would be the jigsaw, hammer drill, angle grinder, or hybrid fan.

The highest value stuff are the chainsaw and hedge trimmer, which are useful tools also. I don't include the reciprocating saw because it's their lowest level model and I consider it junk too. My started having problems after 20 mins of Turing branches with the correct pruning blade.

I'm not really sure why more people don't actually sell the pieces that they don't want on Marketplace, you make more money back than you do just by taking it back to the store for a prorated refund.
If you hold on to the batteries until after Ryobi day is over especially, you can easily get a hundred bucks for him making it a truly free tool if all you wanted was the tool.
As a person who occasionally buys and sells stuff, it's usually not worth your time and effort.

Most of the folks on the reseller apps know u got deal from x place and be trying to low ball down to what your added cost would be if you kept the 2nd tool.

It might take you 1-2weeks to make a sell.
Or you might have to hold on to the tool until deal is over to make a good sell. As you mentioned.

I don't even return my tool to store. You just ask HD online support to cancel the instore pick up minutes after you order.

The angle grinder is actually pretty good. The removal tool stores onboard in the handle and that's a big plus to me. Could never find the one for my corded one so it didn't get used much.

Good to know didn't realize ryobi made different tiers within multi tools and other stuff

I've only used ryobi for more niche tools that I don't want to invest heavy in until I know I use it enough to make it worth t

anyone have feedback on the Blower? Too weak to complete blowing the full lawn (back and front)?
250cfm is nowhere near enough. You want at least 400, but that 18v won't be included in this sale.

Yes it should run it. Those rotisserie attachments don't use a lot of power, under 10w for even the bigger ones.

A 4ah battery is 18V x 4.0ah = 72 watt hrs

You're going to lose some of that to the inverter, but the 10w for the rotisserie and 72w for the battery are a good rough estimate. Should be able to do at least 3 rounds of chickens at 1-1.5 hrs each round.
