I'll wait for the 256gb model with more memory to go on sale. The performance difference is noticeable with extra ram.

if you are used to flagship phones even if they are older do not replace with this. kinda like going from lexus to go kart. even a used lexus is better than a go kart (not racing cart crappy one your drunk uncle built).

For same money, get the Pixel 4 XL 128GB in black now. The white and orange were sold out.

The only things those phones have, besides outdated hardware and software, that the a53 doesn't have is wireless charging. The a 53 will get 4 system upgrades and be updated to Android 16. The phones you mentioned are at the end of life. However, you should be able to find them dirt cheap.

No expandable storage. That's a deal breaker for many folks.

The extra storage is not in the phone, but the USB-C port is where I'll stick a flash drive into. In fact, I have a USB hub. I can attach a few USB devices and micro SD cards to the hub. Then stick the hub to my phone.

I was talking about the microSD slot. You know the one thing Google refuses to put on their phones even though the OS supports it.

I knew what you were talking about. I'm using a USB hub it's more flexible.

Deal expired, but that's ok because most likely the deal will come back soon.

"many folks"

Apple would like a word. Y'all are a minority at this point.

this a53 is 2x more expensive than an lg velvet or lg v60
it costs the same as a samsung s20 fe which also supports esim and wireless charging

if your phone works fine, the ability to update isn't always a good thing... often times it creates issues especially when its a forced update. I honestly won't want to use the same phone when Android 16 comes around.

wireless charging is much more useful than a few updates

A53 camera and battery life look better than lg v60 and s20 fe though
