Most of them are idiots who downvote for fun. They do that with Suryasis too. Who have no clue about laptops, specs, or their pricing.

That's the thing I hate about downvotes, when people do it but don't reply.

Like who gives a crap about internet points, but why bother downvoting if you aren't going to present some kind of counter?

Looks like a decent deal for a 2022 Zephyrus, but not huge performance gains over 2021 models and the fans might be loud.

Nice CPU, nice display, but the fans run extremely loud in Turbo mode. The GPU has a max power draw of 120W, only in Turbo mode.

For gaming, I'd go with a different 2021 laptop with an 8GB 3070, save several hundred dollars and get similar performance in a quieter laptop.

This is the new 2022 model.
  • This will have higher GPU power draw than 2021
  • Has a built in web cam (2021 does not)
  • MUX switch (2021 does not have this)
  • Slightly bigger screen with 16:10 ratio (2021 is 16:9)
  • Intel 12th gen processor (2021 has 5000 series AMD)

All the above is a nice step up over the 2021 model, but the 2021 model will likely be quieter and have less heat. Honestly you can't go wrong either way and which one you choose will definitely come down to preference. Solid deal for a new release, but remember this now means the 2021 version will be much cheaper too!

I think you are confusing it with the G15, the specs you listed were for the 2021 G15 which has a 16:9 screen, Ryzen, and no webcam.

The 2021 M16 Asus:
- Intel 11th Gen
- Caps out at 3060
- Has a webcam and fingerprint sensor
- No MUX switch
- Same 16:10 screen

The one you mentioned was a G15

You are right in all your points comparing the G15 to the M16 though.
