Is this truly a super automatic? You still have to froth the milk yourself with the wand. Super automatics should do that for you as well.

The only word of advise: if it breaks, you have to ship it to New Jersey for service and pay for shipping, ~$100. I got about 4 years out of this machine with a single repair, boiler was replaced. Then three years later it started leaking.
Makes decent coffee though.

It's an espresso machine. It makes coffee by running pressurized boiling water through a pressed puck of coffee grounds. You can adjust the amount of water that flows through that puck. The more volume of water, the weaker it will be per unit of volume and more similar to say an American drip coffee. A super automatic like this takes whole bean coffee, grinds it, taps the grounds into the puck, and brews the espresso all automatically.

This is a great machine and the price is absolutely fantastic. I'm almost wondering if I should buy one. I can just imagine my Krupps dieing right after this deal goes away. My mom has had this Gaggia Brera for over a 6 years and it has been flawless. She drinks an absurd amount of coffee and I've joked that she will need a commercial machine when she kills the Gaggia.
