I was driving near a T-Mobile corporate store yesterday so popped in to submit my iPhone 4 after a T-Force rep informed me that they are a corporate store that accepts trade devices. As soon as I walk in, the store rep says that they don't accept any trade devices, and T-Force should stop telling people to bring in their trade devices to the store. So I then contact a different T-Force rep who gives me the number for two other corporate stores. So I call them, and of course, neither store accepts trades. Seriously? Nice system, T-Mobile. Way to have everything run smoothly like clockwork. LOL.
My only remaining option is mailing it. So I drive to the post office today only to find some ticked off people walking back to their cars. One lady snaps at me saying "Don't bother, they are closed. F-ing Juneteenth bullsh*t." I say "Hmm, weird, since it's now the 20th." She doesn't respond at all to my lame attempt at some dry humor, and just walks away cursing and muttering to herself about the holiday and the post office being closed.
So then, I chat with T-Mobile, and they credit my account $35 for the inconvenience I have experienced, as reimbursement for the assist fee originally charged to my account when I placed the order for the SE3 a few days ago. I am then told to mail the device, as if I really have some other option at this point. So I guess I am off to the post office again tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well. Good times with T-Mobile...
"Thank you for waiting. Upon checking here, the promo still ongoing and no official update yet when it will ends but we will definitely keep you posted online at www.t-mobile.com"

Is this the same for all of you?
I am guessing the same amount in bill credit will be issue once they get my old phone mailed in?
