Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

Hi, I was targeted for this promotion because I have a really old phone on 1 of my 5 lines and will be taking advantage of this offer for myself (will be getting an iPhone13). However my 2 kids are currently sporting iPhone 8's, and I'd like to upgrade them to iPhone 11's. If I can secure a couple more iPhone 5's, would I be able to get 2 more of these promos? Has anyone successfully done something similar to this? On the website I have tried trading the same iPhone 5 I have on all 5 of my lines (I stop right before I actually have to Submit) and it looks like it would go through giving me the $430 in each case. What I wonder though is if I can only do this once in my account? Meaning as soon as I redeem this promo for myself, the option will disappear from my account and I will not be able to do it again. Anyone with experience attempting to do something similar? TIA

Somewhere, it was stated 4 phones per account, you can even put all 3 Equipment Installment Plans on one of the lines.

Awesome, thank you for the reply. Do you mind me asking how much time in between each upgrade, or did you do them both at the same time? And you originally only had one line/device eligible? Thank you again.

Thank you for your reply. I did read the 4 phones per account limit but I wasn't sure if that applied only to folks with 4 eligible lines/device, whereas I only have one eligible line/device. But being able to put all 3 EIPs on one line makes this even better. I guess it makes sense since this isn't one of those promos where you have to add a line to get it. Thanks again.

Be careful with putting 2 active EIPs in my line. The system is not designed that way

Multiple eips on one line? Did you pay off each device before adding a new eip ?

I've read it's possible to have multiple bill credits on the same line but that's after paying off the entire phone.

Here's my story:

called yesterday after plugging in my iPhone 5 and sim. I called a rep (in the us) and she had to research the promotion, but took the imei and said I was eligible, even though it wasn't showing online when ordering. She assured me the promotion would apply within one or two pay cycles. I proceeded and received the docusign for the equipment agreement. The docusign didn't reflect anything about the promotion, and I again mentioned this concern to the rep, and assured me again it would take effect after two bill cycles. I proceeded and checked online today and not surprisingly, no promotion is tied to the new phone order, and it states I'll pay the full price per month. Reached out to t force on twitter and they stated I'm not eligible for the promotion and gave me the option to cancel the order, or pay full price. I decided to call in again and an overseas rep answers. She looks at my order and didn't see anything on the account about the promotion. She then asked me about it and I provided her with the promotion offer and she locates it. I then receive the same information from this rep as the one I spoke to yesterday, stating the promotion will be applied in one or two bill cycles.

So here I am debating if I should risk one or two bill cycles, which will be past the phones return window, or if I should just return the phone when I receive it…

anyone have any luck getting promotions applied after two bill cycles?
This is my understanding. You are not eligible for the promo unless you have a targeted offer received from Tmobile. You would have received an offer if an old phone was on the account for a longer period of time. Tmobile and its merry band of rep's can do a lot of exceptions and it is a company with a patched up system, there are more exceptions than rules. So you could get the promo added or somehow compensated if you keep trying until you get a helpful exception aligned rep- depending on your luck it may take 5 mins or 5 calls spending 20 hours spanning 3 billing cycle. It would involve stress and frustration too. I would give 70:30 chance that eventually you would get almost free phone if you persist.

Too bad - I can already see from T-Mobile account page "activity" section that I've been enrolled in the WRONG promotion. I'll have to reach out to T-Mobile this morning and see what can be done - instead of $17.92 monthly it only shows $4.17 and mentions a different Promo!

"2125551212 is eligible for 2022 Apple Trade P7 due to an eligible purchase . Monthly credits in the amount of 4.17 will be applied over 24 months"I

I contacted T-Mobile customer support via Apple iMessage twice over two days - both team members assisting me reported that the "Promotions" team would not enroll my upgrade in Promotion "P038" [2022 UMTS Apple Upgrade P] since my account was not originally "selected" for the promotion. I asked what my options were - including just returning the new iPhone un-opened and foregoing the upgrade altogether. T-Mobile offered verbally to pay off my EIP entirely which I accepted. Still need to send in the old iPhone 5 for trade-in, and need to watch for that EIP being retired over the next month.

Probably more like 99:1 chance. From reading comments in this thread it seems that in one way or another, T-Force is doing right by nearly everyone who decided to jump into this deal. And that includes those of us that were not targeted for the promo.

Also, I think some here are being overly dramatic and exaggerating the time and work involved to do the deal. Some SDers posting about how difficult, stressful, and time consuming the deal is have not even done the deal. LOL.

There are hoops to jump through, as there are with most any deal. But if you're following the proper steps and using T-Force to switch the promo, it is not stressful or time consuming at all. Basically submit the request and sit back until they manually change promo, or in some cases, provide a lump sum credit.

Yes. I received that and they will fix the promo as per our conversation over the phone and TForce.

I also saw that I had the P7 promo posted on my line today. P7 is the $100 for old iphone, paid over 2 years. I purchased my se3 via chat. I contacted via Messenger stating that I should have received the P1 promo. After checking, they told me that I couldn't get added to P1, so they gave me a balance of $330 onto my account since they saw in my chat history that I was promised the P1 promo. They honored their word. All in all, painless for the upgrade from 5c (which I bought on eBay for $24) to a se3 for the cost of tax and upgrade fee of $35.

Call again and ask them to waive your upgrade fee. Last time I talked to a rep he said they are supposed to waive the fee for you if a rep helps you order.
