Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

So locked into T-Mo for 24 months at their high priced plans..no way is this a good deal.
I disagree. I am on an old T-Mobile One Plus promo 3 lines for 100/mo. I get almost all benefits, except Netflix for free.
I ordered 3 iPhones SE for free trading in 3 old iPhone 5s that I had. Contacted a T-force rep who fixed the P1 promo and I see now the full credits for the 3 phones. Also, I asked another t-force rep to unlock the 3 phones and she did with no questions asked.
So yes, I am happily locked with them for 2 years, but in a great and cheap plan

Stopped by after work, the T-Mobile store didn't want to accept trade ins. Told me to print a label and ship it out.

Got to the post office and the clerk saw assurant on the label and said it can't go in an airplane. So it will take longer to get to the warehouse in Texas.

I hope it doesn't get lost
Don't worry, after you mail it off no longer your concern!

See this is what I feel is going to happen to me.

Although I was told by T-Force P1 was applied it still be shows P7. I was told it should update on my next bill.

However I have it in writing from 4 different reps that I'm eligible.

Hopefully if it isn't fixed on the next bill they will just credit the balance and close the EIP.
I was told the same thing by different reps. Will wait one billing cycle and see what happens.

I had an unlocked iPhone 4 using one of line for about 3 weeks now. Yesterday, I finally got an email told me to upgrade to 5G phone for free. But I logged on to my account today and didn't see any promotion for it. If I tried to trade iPhone 4 for iPhone 11, iPhone 4 valued at $0 with no other promotion attached.

I understand that the promotion may be over. But why T-Mobile sent me text message yesterday?

That's just the generic end of 3G upgrade offer where you could get a OnePlus Nord N200 5G phone for free after bill credits. Which I'm not sure is still valid.

I've gotten those emails too, they're for free basic Android phones with any trade in.

Sharing my successful but time consuming experience:

First 2 chats through the T-Mobile app said my account didn't qualify.

3rd chat wasn't able to complete the order and told me to call 611.

4th chat successfully processed order and made sure the P1 promo was applied.

Phone ships and P7 promo shows up in my account.

Contacted T-Force on twitter and asked for the correct promo. They were adamant they couldn't switch promos and offered me $50 credit. I said no. They mentioned I was within the return period but I said I already mailed in my trade-in. They then offered $150 credit. I see where this is going with incremental credits so I just outright ask for $330 credit and keep the current P7 promo. They agreed and $330 credit showed up in my account within a few minutes.

Each of the T-Mobile app chats were over an hour long and the Twitter chat was 3 hours long.

Good luck to the rest of you.

finally got this done as well:

- first chat says I'm eligible, sets up the trade-in for P1
- trade in successful, like a lot of people here, P7 gets applied instead
- message T-Force 5 times, over an hour each time, each time they say they'll fix it, of course they don't
- finally on the 5th time, they apply the $330 credit after arguing back and forth, with me sending multiple screenshots of the promised P1/$430 credit

what I've learned; when they say it'll fix it in the next '1-2 billing cycles,' you can basically take that to mean never going to happen

It's called out clearly many times in this thread that this deal is only for targeted users. If you are not targeted, but want to play with rep, it may take a lot of time to get it "fixed".

Not true. My agent said she will do it next day and she did it (I can see it in my account). She didn't even have to come back to tell me about it. It just happened

T mobile is horrible

I recently re added a phone back to my account that I had already paid off and now it is showing as 23 payments remaining. They also owe me $36 for an activation fee they promised to refund a week ago.
