Really not a deal since activation is required. It is $350 for the unlocked version on Amazon, so saving $50 to go through the hassle of activating with one of the big 3/4 carriers is not worth it.

Also, if you really want to go through the hassle of activating a phone and paying for service, you can get an S22 128GB for $299 + $100 in Google Fi service for 4 months, and less if you have the $75 Fi Amex offer.

I disagree. I get a free 3rd line with T-Mobile. And all I did in Best Buy was add the unlocked version to cart, login with my T-Mobile account and selected the 3rd line number for upgrade. Now I have a unlocked one for $299. So I don't know what the hassle is that you are describing at least in my case it was less than 5 mins all online. And I also disagree that I should choose s22 with fi as opposed to this. Not everyone needs a high end phone with a mini battery. The Samsung A53 with bigger battery might be better for some.
