I have this drill, the blower and weed wacker. They are lightweight tools but do the job I got them for just fine.

Actually the batteries seem to last a while. I have had the wacker and the blower foe 4 years now and the batteries hold a charge just fine.

I got the drill last year and it can drive a 3 inch deck screw through cedar with little fanfare.

Now if I was driving 200 of them then I would use my Milwaukee. But I keep these at the vacation rental for light duty and so far zero issues.

These are pure trash. Don't buy at any price. I have one and it's getting replaced because it's so terrible even for the smallest jobs.

Odd I have 2 drills a lots of the tool kit, unless your mixing concrete they work great for homeowner repair stuff. Had mine for years and do quite a bit.
If a contractor asked I would say spend up but a weekend project guy SURE!!

I wasted too much money on B&D trash from seeing comments like these. Definitely not worth it for the battery alone because the tools in the B&D lineup are toys. I have 5 B&D batteries but I don't use them at all. Honestly if you want something simple, get one of those Ryobi One+ drill with battery and charger for around the same price, then thank me later.

Ryobi drills are nothing to rave home about but the One+ got a huge lineup of many great, useful tools without breaking the bank

Exactly, listen to this person! Save your self some time and money. This brand is crap even for the smallest jobs. I learned the hard way.

Absolutely crappy product. Not worth the money. Its better to add few bucks and get Ryobi.

I have a couple b&d drills, but never use them. For light duty, I always grab my Milwaukee M12. I do use the b&d batteries for a couple other tools though.

if I'm a first time power tool buyer, I would consider the ryobi set deals from HD and DTO or the hart deals from walmart. I think you get more of your money's worth. If you already have a bunch of BD stuff, this makes sense

I guess if you are just replacing/adding a drill to your existing B&D lineup this is ok. If you want a starter set for light/medium diy work spend the $50 more the Hart 5 tool FP deal or a Ryobi kit. The value of having a second driver and not having to constantly swap bits is worth it in itself.

Honest review. It work just fine drilling wood and fasten screw. For small job around the house. But if I am building something I bring out the corded. Why people are so hang up on torque too much torque will just strip the screw head.

Yeah, same here. No issues. When I bought it, I read the same sort of posts of how junky these are but I decided to try them out anyway. Sure these aren't great for big projects or for pros, but I'm a lowly home owner that needed a decent power screwdriver. Got exactly that. No issues other than that sometimes it doesn't have enough power to drive huge bits, but I use a corded for those which I rarely need.
