I'm torn myself. I just picked up the two tp-link deco x90 tri-band routers for wireless 6 access (not 6e) last week to replace my wireless 5 Google mesh routers I've been using. I Just finished installing all my devices to the decos for around the same $420 mark and so far they are decent, However, im considering switching to these eeros because I don't like the limitations around the TP-Link software. No vpn pass through etc.
The higher subscription of the eeros for $100 a year also provides the onepass and Malwarebytes and ad blocking across all connected devices which the TP-Link doesn't offer with there $60 subscription. Both options unfortunately have certain features hidden behind a lower paywall though. Parental controls etc.
The tp link routers are more powerful but the eero has a third router and offers 6e.
Negative to 6e is that it takes up one of the two 5ghz bands for the 6ghz mode. So if you don't have devices that connect to the 6ghz band, you might be better off with a different wifi 6 router like the deco's instead. Like I said, I'm torn, but the price is right if you want to get onboard with 6e.

Edit: Welp, never mind. Looks like you cannot just trade in the Beacon.
This is what I did with that cause of concern. I created a new email just for the eero account so there is nothing linked or connected to it.
