I have this wheel and my buddy has the T300 RS. The Logitech feels more detail in the road, the Thrustmaster is way more muted, but stronger and smoother feedback. The pedals on this are on several magnitudes better than the 300rs! That is his biggest complaint.. This wheel also looks much nicer and the buttons are all perfectly setup for Gran Turismo if that's what you play. If I had to do it over I'd still buy this over the Thrustmaster, pedals and feedback feel as the highest determining factor. Both are great setups. Preference on feedback feel is subjective, so keep that in mind.

I'd get the Thrustmaster T300RS for around 299 (bhphoto) over this; it's a better wheel and has better FFB, which makes you faster. You do need to change out the fan (see YouTube) to a Noctua 60mm as the stock fan is inadequate for cooling. I'd like to eventually upgrade to Fanatec but it's quite pricey and constantly OOS.

Why is this one so much more expensive than the $100 Sony licensed product sold by Costco?

I believe the one in Costco doesn't have Force Feedback.

Yes. I used this with the H shifter for a few years. I've been using logis for probably 20 years.

My main complaint about all of them is that wheel has always been toy size. As long as I've been sim racing I've used a full size wheel, this is the first logi that made it easy to attach an adapter and then a wheel.

My main complaint on this wheel was what I'd describe as clipping. Force feedback usually felt fine, but when it came to bumps or drifting, the clipping in the wheel was loud, clanking and annoying as it felt like the suspension had been obliterated. Despite that, I felt it was a great wheel.

Quality, features, wheel rotation, force feedback. The Hori would maybe be ok for arcade style racing games but for someone that enjoys racing/ sim racing and is looking to be competitive and enhance their experience, most people are going to look at logitech or Thrustmaster...and then eventually Fanatec, Sim magic, simcube etc.

Is it worth upgrading from the g920? Looks like the difference is vibration in the wheel? Anything else?

I play dirt rally 2 using a quest 2 with the shifter and a usb ebrake off amazon. Here is a video:

Im not very good.

I have a tactile transducer now too so I get vibration from that. I am very satisfied with my setup. The upgrade to fanatec is like $1000 im guessing it wont matter much at my level. I feel immersed in VR.

This will not be on sale during Prime Day. Wait and you will miss out. I know. I work for Amazon Corporate.
