on the positive side, the joshua trees are just awesome to look at:

Guess it's somewhat easy to take good scenery pics there seeing as how you can probably stop and park right in the middle of the road to get your shots. I mean, it's not like you have to avoid the traffic
I once saw a cow eating outside its fenced in area. But it had its head under the last row of barbed wire in such a position it looked hung.
Not hung as in Man, he is hung..But hung in that its head looked hung-trapped in the wire.
So here I am driving by in a convertible with the top down and look over and see these "huge big brown cow eyes" peering up from under that barbwire and thought - My God that cow has its head hung and is looking at me for help. By the time I turned around and got back it had of course moved on to greener pasture inside its fence..
But those cow's have tricks! I'm feelin ya.

also, Lake Tahoe is hands down one of the most gorgeous places on the planet
