In for a pair, thanks! I have the virtually identical 3 pack from Costco and was looking to add 1-2 more extenders to get fast speeds around the entire house. This is the lowest I've seen for a 2 pack. These are great!

I upgraded from an ASUS XR500, because my office and cable drop are in a corner of the second floor. Was losing all wifi connectivity for 2/3 of the home. With the 3 pack from Costco I'm getting way better coverage across 90% of the home. With these two added, I am banking on coverage everywhere at better speeds. I love it. Asus probably lets you do more with DumaOS, but I'm not smart enough to take advantage of all the software. The TP-Link app to control the system is super basic, and all I need.

If I only have Wi-Fi 6 devices (iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV) would this still be an upgrade from my Nest Wi-Fi?

From AC -> AXE Yes
From AX -> AXE Nope

You need 6E devices to make use of it.

Jesus how big is your house? or is it just a weird shape? The three are rated for 7700 square feet. Also can you just tack these on as satellites, I know in the 3 pack there is a dedicated initial router than they have two satellites

Considering 6GHz range is line of sight you'll need these access points in just about every open room so I assume they're future proofing. WiFi 6e is not worth investing this amount of money just yet considering this range limitation, let alone available client devices to access them. I wouldn't be surprised when 6e becomes mature we'll see 4-6 pucks per bundle. The extra channel access will be worth it for congested spaces like apartments and tightly built single family homes but WiFi mesh systems will likely be $400+
