I finally bought the 2022 model when it went on sale recently for $1500 and again returned two of those as well because of numerous quality control issues. Honestly, I've also returned a G15 and M16 for QC issues, which makes that 6 ASUS QC returns in the past 1 1/2 years. Personally, I'm done with them.
I will say that the larger/nicer trackpad and display are fantastic, but, it does get hotter than the 2021 model and it's noticeable. There are tweaks G14 users have been doing for a few years now to help fix that, but at the cost of performance.
I don't feel the stupidly high price of the 2022 G14 is worth the extra cost compared to either FHD or QHD 2021 model on sale unless you absolutely need the differences. I'm glad I got rid of mine and would still recommend the 2021 model to people that need a small laptop for travel and still want to game some. The 2022 G14 needs to be $1300 or less for me to seriously consider it again.

Did the speaker quality issues have to do with bass vibration? I have that on my old ROG laptop and I finally just gave up and started carrying USB headphones with it.
Windows 10 works pretty seamlessly on it, but I ran into lots of problems with win11 (random freezes and reboots). Had to revert back to Win10.
Other than win11 issue, I have no complaints. Replaced the 8G ram with a 32G. battery life is acceptable to decent, but not spectacular (don't expect M1 level battery life).
power cord placement could be better but not a deal breaker.
All are pretty much the same price.
