network settings -> APN -> Add a new APN suitable for your network (you can get APN settings from Google). Once you save the APN settings, make it default APN. Now, the service will disconnect and you need to click on 'Home" in the dashboard and there will be option to "Connect" and click on that.
I did this through a laptop by connecting through a USB cable (not connecting to device's wifi). You can do the same as well.
