I've used this model for years. Good, comfortable ergonomics and performance. The rubber on the side where your thumb sits does wear off after a couple of years though. Not so much where it smears on your fingers. It's just rubbed away like a remote control button that's gotten heavy use. It's not a big deal and not at all bothersome.

Battery life is great and the light in the middle will slowly blink red when it's time to replace it. If you install the Logitech software it'll tell you when it's getting low too.

This mouse feels like it'll last forever, unlike others I've had where the index and middle finger clickers began to weaken and lose their tactile feel. The springs in these buttons are still going strong.

I bought this deal the last time it rolled around a few months ago because it was around $11. I still haven't opened the package as I'm still using the one I had. I prefer the black color, but this blue is fine.

What's the difference between a laser mouse and a regular red LED mouse? I've heard that precision is improved by what does that actually mean?

I have owned two, blue and black. For me they double click after a few years. The blue one double clicks the right button and the black double clicks the left.
Same, after 2 years. Looked into replacing the button switch and it's apparently cheap and easy to do, but at the time, Office Depot was having this same deal.

I bought these for my kids when COVID hit and we had to school from home. Still going strong today. These are great mice.

So, I have had this mouse for.... probably five years. Maybe even longer. I think I have swapped battery's two, maybe 3 times.

This was with heavy use for three years. It's probably the only mouse I have used that hasn't had a micro switch kill over on me after a year.

I want to buy a *gaming* mouse but I can't get rid of ole reliable for what will surely be garbage.

Bought these at OD also for around $13 about less than 2 weeks ago. Really liked these. Wish they had the other colors on sale tho, but still happy

I like the smaller version where the thumb buttons are better ergonomically placed.

I need a couple of decent wireles mice, any one have experience with this model?
I'll add my review, this comes in a couple of different colors and I've used this thing for years. Just an FYI I'm pretty sure it comes paired with the K350 keyboard that is so popular. I use this as my primary work mouse (using it right now) along with at home for some gaming. Great battery life, easy to change too. Comes with a unifying adapter (that alone is $12) + it comes with Duracell batteries already with it. I bought 2 of these in may (to replace my 2 other black M510's that were getting older). Just bought another 2 as backups to put in the closet because I liked them so much very much well worth it at this price. I literally can't think of anything I dislike about this mouse.

They don't last long. Usually die at 2.5 yr mark. When i say die i mean it just taking signals from the computer
This is with another Logitech model but I had one with the battery left in, no leak though just sat around and now it's dead.

Little technicality: The thumb buttons are only on one side right? So it wouldn't exactly be ambidextrous even if the shape of the mouse is symmetrical. (and do they make them on both sides?)
I have multiple of these mice (in the black color though) and have been using them ambidextrously for over a decade. I'm using one in my left hand right now. For my work/home setup, I keep a separate mouse between work and personal computer even though I have a switch to toggle a single keyboard between both computers.

At least for me, it's really easy to hit the back/forward button with my left middle finger. For back - I push it in with my first inside knuckle. For forward - I push with the furthest inside knuckle.
