The stuff really comes in handy for taco night. Just hydrate, then fry as crumbles instead of patties. So easy on a busy night. Clean up is a breeze too, no meat grease to deal with.

I will have to try making black bean burgers from scratch. It's not like I don't have the ingredients.

It looks like it can be done at minimum with black beans, oatmeal, onions, and flavoring. Egg optional.
