How's this vs. the Vizio M512a-H6 5.1.2 soundbar? Have the Vizio in my home "office" and an LG SN7R in the living room, and thinking of upgrading from the SN7R.

i just looked, prob gonna buy the vizio on amazon for 250
The 5.1 Vizio M Series M51a-H6 is a better soundbar than the 5.1.2 Monoprice SB-600. The Vizio has a much more neutral sound profile, and it can produce a more extended low-bass. It gets louder than the Monoprice with less compression present at max volume. Also, it provides a more immersive surround sound experience. Although the Monoprice has slightly less distortion when used at max volume, there likely isn't a noticeable difference for real-life content.

And as an added bonus, the Vizio will stop working within months, guaranteed. They even throw that feature in for free.
That sucks, in my experience I've never had a Vizio anything crap out on me. Not one thing, three TVs and two sound bars. Must have had good days at the factory, I guess.
Rtings[rtings.com] review isn't terrible but you could definitely find better deals for a cheaper price.
Thanks.
To be sure we're talking an apples vs. apples comparison:
Are you saying there are better deals (at this price point) than this for an Atmos 5.1.2 system with, not only the usual wireless sub, but also WIRELESS surround (rear) speakers included (like this deal)?
If so, would appreciate any suggestions (which brand+model Atmos soundbar & wireless surround speakers combo . .

The Vizio does NOT have wireless surround speakers, whereas the Monoprice system does.
For many of us, wireless surround (rear) speakers are a must.
