I did some further research on the importance of matched RAM, and some people on the internet aren't as big of sticklers about it being an issue as other people. From what I understand, mismatched RAM sticks will run at the slower RAM's speed.
Anyway, good luck getting to 16GB, however you end up accomplishing it.
I'm very happy with the performance after doing a clean install of Windows 10. This computer absolutely flies compared to my old one. I started to do some preliminary shopping for a RAM upgrade while this machine was in transit, but I'm going to wait on that for right now because I'm more than satisfied with it's performance out of the box.
