The down sides are those macro buttons shift the keyboard over a bit, causing you to have to relearn how to type. Also the key plastic feels a bit...cheap? It's very thin and doesn't have that premium solid feel like Corsair or Razor keyboards have.
Overall I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. It's a good match with the Z20 gaming mouse if you can get a good price on it. The control app covers both.
The K12 is the membrane keyboard, and has those hot keys on the left like the G110 does.

The app is good, you get a lot of customization options. Also, it has physical media keys and volume wheel, which is something I was looking for.
However, the surface of the keys feel a little "slippery", they also have a very short travel distance, so if you type a lot and fast you're very likely to make a lot of mistakes.
I bought it for gaming and do some coding, but it's not a great kb for coding at all.
I've been using the macro keys since the start, I've watched videos in yt for the macros and I still haven't found out how to set ">" to as a macro since it shares the same key as "<"
Bought the Steelseries Apex Pro on sale about a week ago, been really impressed with its quality so far.
