I'd disagree on numpad. Highly useful for literally any situation you need to input numbers (including making calls).
This laptop is amazing. Outrageously thin and light for how powerful it is.
Has an antiglare screen.
I run autohotkey scripts from half my keyboard. Having the numpad is great because it's technically different than the top row #s. If you use your laptop for productivity or anything that can be scripted, AHK can be invaluable, and better with a num pad.

That stupid track pad is still off center from the main keys... They kept it in the center of chassis...

Yeah, I'm with you on this one. I like the form factor and larger screen, but that off-centered trackpad ... dealbreaker for me.

I've been eying this model, but worried about sup-par cooling with a single fan, but I'm no laptop expert. Any thoughts?

I have a Lenocvo Legion high end gaming laptop (although gaming really only happens on a desktop) and the off-center track pad is a 100% deal breaker agreed. I will never ever buy a laptop with an off-centered track pad. In fact the number pad needs to go as well, I'm not using this thing as a calculator or a phone so no need for a numpad. Damn designers, they should be forced to use the terrible things they make.

Great laptop. Better than macbook.
Go for the 32gb model since the memory is soldered and not upgradable.

Alder Lake E core should work efficiently compared with old gens even with a single fan.
