I just traded in my 2018 Paperwhite for the new one and enjoy the 6.8" screen way more than the 6". The screen looks great and reading on it doesn't feel quite so cramped. I did get the signature edition, but the only differences are no ads, auto adjusting light, and 32GB vs 8Gb. Screenwise, I believe they should be identical and I think it looks better than my previous one.

I think the light looks great. It's plenty bright enough, can adjust to be warmer or cooler, and is evenly litt across the whole screen.

If the Paperwhite is what you are looking for, check the Paperwhite for kids - 2 year warranty, case and no ads. Words the extra 10 dollars.

I meant the 2018 paperwhite vs the newest non-paperwhite. Because both were $44 on sale.

I have both. Definitely Paperwhite 2018 aka Paperwhite 4 or Generation 10. Paperwhite has higher resolution than new Kindle (300 vs 187)

I tried and got "I wish I could do that for you however we do not offer the price match with the third party website"

I tried to explain that it was their own product, and that they should be able to beat it let alone match it since there's additional overhead for brick 3rd party stores selling it and were able to bring it down to $95.
