GET 4 GAMES WITH SELECT GEFORCE RTX 30 SERIES* For a limited time, get Ghostwire: Tokyo, DOOM Eternal, DOOM Eternal Year One Pass (Includes DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part One & Part Two and BATTLEMODE) with the purchase of a qualifying GeForce RTX 3090 ti, 3090, 3080 Ti, 3080 desktop, laptop or GPU.
(idk if I consider this "4" free games, but I've never played Doom Eternal and not sure how the "Year One Pass" works — aka, dont come after me, go after BB, lol)
Also, the RTX 3080 12GB could have been had for $770-$800 in recent months, so don't put too much weight on this "$250 off" the MSRP of $1,000…it's more like $30-$50 off.

I see a lot of people here bashing the "hold" etc crowd, but those critical of the mentality fail to understand the anger a lot of gamers have developed ever since crypto started causing lengthy shortages several gpu generations ago. Consumer rage can sink fiscal quarters and anyone thinking there isn't a lot of anger (or even worse for AMD/Nvidia, disinterest) for GPU hardware isn't paying attention. Sure there's a lot of pent up demand. There's also a lot of folks (like me) who are perfectly happy to drop gaming for long periods of time, and spend their money on other things.
Besides, if the strongly supported rumors about Nvidia RESUMING rtx 3080 12gb production are true… those who held out might just score a sweet deal on what turns out to be the ray-tracing equivalent of something like the ole 8800 gt/gts/gtx series.

Owning a newish gpu quit being a big deal for me a long time ago. My gaming backlog across pc and consoles is huge so I'm perfectly happy being 1-3 years behind on the upper-midrange cards. GPU or console shortage? Meh, I'll spend my money on other forms of entertainment, like maybe catch up on my massive backlog of streaming shows etc.
