Doesn't actually have mechanical switches, has regular rubber dome switches according to https://www.rtings.com/keyboard/r...h-keyboard

I have the first one, I don't think it's mechanical…the keys are mushy but it's quiet so it's decent. Only issue is that it doesn't have a raiser so it sits flat on the desk and can be awkward to type on.

The keys that are missing on this keyboard that frustrates me are…

1. The Print Screen key
2. The application pop up key which is useful for bringing the context menu without using mouse right click.

That is how you take a cropped screenshot, but the Print Screen key actually has a number of associated shortcuts that take the screenshots instantly. For example, Alt + Print Screen instantly screenshots the active window.

There may be a way to emulate the key another way though.

A window screenshot is really just a cropped screenshot where you have to use your mouse hand to hit the button.

But really, win+shift+s opens the snipping toolbar and you can select from there what you want to do. Personally I find it far faster to just select what I want to screenshot, even if it's the full screen.

I can imagine. Microsoft hardware can be quite a pest to deal with. I bought one of their Sculpt keyboards and the pleather wrist rest started peeling away after only a few months. For $20 and Bluetooth, meaning not having to keep track of a dongle, I figure why not.
