Thanks for posting. The other thread had a lot of convo about there not being a warranty but later comments showed people verified theirs had the 5 year via the Seagate warranty check.

I spoke with one of the reps at Newegg and they confirmed the warranty as well.

I wonder if prices are going to drop even more. It was announced the other day that HDDs lost even more market share (again).
