Believe it or not, I learned English from the original floppy disk 'The Secret of the Monkey Island'

There was no internet, no game guide so I had to look up English-Korean dictionary and translate each command (walk, talk, pick up) on to the paper.

The game play, especially dialogues was too hard for 5th grade Korean kid but I was able to move characters and interact with characters at least.

By the time I got into middle school, I already knew basic English words and was well ahead of others. English was my favorite class and I always got good grades Smilie

One of my favorite games of all time.

These are amazing games and $5 is an absolute steal. I recommend starting with the curse of monkey island. Most user friendly interface and one of the greatest classic of the point and click adventure game world. Repped.

Got mine for 4.37!

Good games. but Amazon has been giving away some and may eventually give away all of them.
If you dont have Amazon Prime though $5 is a pretty good price.

Best...games...ever....
Seriously though, these games are wonderful. Especially the first two. Third has a cult following that was a lot of people's first forray Deep In The Caribbean. To boot, Return comes out next month on International Talk Like A Pirate Day. All in all, this is a great part of the series at an excellent price.
