You really should just step away from this one. The incoming semantics debate from you is just further opportunity for you to embarrass yourself even more than the edit you already made to your first post. It's really okay to learn from your oversights.

Haha you would think! But I went to Lowes and bought the "few dollar" succulents that are actually $6 a piece for the 11oz mini pots and spent over $60 for them all to die on me...so really this is cheaper and will never die!
plant fans probably aren't buying this set, Lego fans are. I want it because I enjoy building Lego that I can keep around year long. I don't care about real plants no matter how little water they require.
Wife loves plants/flowers and my 6yo loves legos. We love building these together and he gives them to his mom.

These sets are very popular, a good chunk of my office that isn't into LEGO at all love them as little decor pieces with no maintenance.
NOTE to all: You can get the Pirates and Treasure VIP Add On Pack (40515) valued at $10 now when buying this on LEGO and also get the cash-back VIP points. This might arguably be a better deal if you want the Pirate set or plan to sell it later.
You need to buy above 50dlr sets to get that. This set is 49.99. I don't think it will work?

In 50 years we will use bioengineering to make real life imitations of the LEGOs.
It seemed implied by your exact wording:

Edit: funny to see people actually downvote taking a breath to consider whether spending $50 on plastic toys that emulate vastly cheaper natural flora is "slick." But again, you do you. Goodwills, garbage and Salvation Army are full of this stuff, and $50 bucks is a lot of money to some people. If you're anywhere actual succulents grow, people often will just give you some for free. Learning to build and raise a garden is more interesting and valuable to some than completing a $50 predetermined plastic puzzle. But feel free to buy this for your kids or yourself if you feel it's worth the money to you, the environment is pretty much doomed at this point anyway.
"Predetermined plastic puzzle"
Buddy. Do you realize the point of legos is that they can be recombined to make new creations? Predetermined? I did not know there were people who did not understand what legos are for.
