I have a CCwGTV, and it's absolutely my favorite streaming device.

I also have a Fire TV 4K stick, but I'm picking up this Fire TV 4K Max device to see how it fares.

Having a Fire Stick in addition to the CCwGTV helps me keep some of the 'bloat' off of that device, and its 'limited' basic/default on-board storage.

(I know I can add storage and such via a hub, but I'd like to avoid any more spaghetti than I already have, lol)

This is very YMMV but I tried to do this deal and stack the 20% off trade in offer. My original regular 4K I got last year died and they sent me a replacement. The trade in program does not allow their replacements to be traded in because they're flagged as refurbished. I told the agent on chat I was trying to trade it in (it's less than a year old) and he said he cannot fix it so he's refunding my old 4K stick so I can buy the 4K Max. I got a gift card of $40 to put towards this deal.

Owned a firestick every generation. 4k has let me down. Either it's the apps I'm using (Disney+, hulu, ESPN, HBO, STARZ) or the stick but I've run out of space. Had to ditch and go to Apple TV

I owned few previous generation of fire tv stick as well as my family members and all ended up in trash. Too much ads and running slow after firmware update. We all replaced with walmart ONN, no more bloatware, everything stock UI and response. Only down size just remote not as good others but you can use remote from phone (google home).
