Bought this one for $49 (it's $49 it seems like every other week) and it's on all day every day and it seriously blows some cool air, on low. On high it's nuts and i love it.
it's in my living room and it's pretty quiet. yet to give me any issues in over a year that I've had it.

They really aren't. I've had 3 of the room circulation sizes fail between me and family. Meanwhile the $20 generic tower fan from Costco from 6 years ago is still running great
You must have gotten those newer vornado. I'm talking vornados from 2000's and earlier.

Does your Dreo's motor have bearing noise? I returned 2 from Amazon with that annoyance and kept the replacement from the manufacturer. It's the Pilot WiFi model. If you luck out and don't get one from Amazon with that defect, it's the quietest fan I've ever owned of any kind. When investigating the noise with the other 2 fans I noticed that some vanes on the rotor had metal clips. They must be balancers like the ones you get after a car tire installation.

It probably had wobble blades it has a 5 years warranty or you can open it up and retighten everything yourself
