When I look at this 48" Auros, it appears the opposite as if the center bulges forward, like a convex curve.
It feels quite strange. Other than that, picture looks very nice. Maybe it's just something I need to get use to.
Just curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar.
Aside from that, everything is indeed perfect. The display is a monster. Honestly, I wish it was a 42", but I think I'll get used to it. I do have an arm coming today, I think that will help, since I can drop it down an inch or so, and also tilt it slightly downward. Otherwise, it's an OLED, and looks as perfect as any other. At $600, it's an insane bargain. And while I've noticed the auto dimming doing some desktop work, only when switching tabs or something... never on a static screen... and it's never been a problem. Just, something I've noticed. I can tell it's not going to bother me.
When I got home and opened it up properly, I was right. Everything was in great shape, not a spec of dust on the monitor.
HDR is pretty mind blowing on this thing. Tried it on Doom Eternal, pretty epic experience.
Downside is its missing some features compared to LG C1, the worst of which it not being full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so you would have to run PS5 in 4:2:0 chroma to get 120hz. DP 1.4 is full bandwidth thankfully.
I've got a 65" CX in the living room and it's gaming perfection. It'll be nice to have an OLED in the office too. I would have preferred a 43" C2, but a 48" OLED for $600 is just way too sick to pass up.
My current ultrawide is on an arm, but it's not a strong enough one for this display. I'm going to try the feet, but throwing that arm in an Amazon wishlist just in case. If you think about it, id like to hear how it works for you.
Anyways, No dead pixels or issues, arrived fine, the box intact, and the monitor as well. I set it up on the said arm. Works perfectly fine. The vesa mounting kit did have me worrying a bit..keeping the whole thing aligned but the arm/mount has nice adjustments and ...yea I m happy with how it turned out. I will tweak things this weekend or when I have some time to make sure its in the middle of the table and my 2nd monitor is in the middle of this monitor and so on.
Honestly I am not noticing much difference from the 43 to 48 but I've only had the 43" for like a month or so. 32 to 43 did take some adjustment. My table is about 32" deep and I lean back a bit when playing games and 48 seems like it should be ok. Time will tell.
Just while writing this comment the brightness has adjusted couple times but it just gets easier on the eyes so I don't really mind it. Text clarity seems ok to me but I have the display scaled to 150% right now so thats that. O just got super bright again....o well.
Anyways, feel free to ask any questions if anyone has some.
would anyone has their box laying around somewhere? lol

I reached out to UPS for advice and they suggested filing a claim/reaching out to the shipper but Newegg won't accept a replacement claim form without a police report and I'm not sure about putting in police paperwork for "My shipment was delayed and I guess I'm still waiting for it but I'm waiting an uncomfortably long time."
I wouldn't be so anxious if it wasn't such decent chunk of change and I'm due to move out of the area in a handful of weeks so I can't just wait for it to possibly eventually arrive...
I'll give it until late Thursday before properly sweating, I guess.
Also check the rebate tracking number to see what it says
Damn boys, this has still been cheapest 120hz OLED to date! Not like all these chumps paying $900 for the LG 48gq900-b which is the same panel and HDMI 2.1 spec. And that doesn't have 120hz BFI!
