Check with your car insurance before you pay out of pocket.
Lots of time you can get cracks repaired for free (usually through Safelite).
If you need a replacement, then you would have to cover your deductible, not sure if you could apply this to an insurance claim.
Yikes. So many horror stories from them. They messed up my 2021 xc40 sensors. If you have an old car may be worth it. You're better off going to someone local. Almost every industry guy knows they are the worsr quality.
Worked for me, thanks. My windshield isn't cracked but it's got a hundred tiny chips from gravel impacts that are really distracting when the sun hits them.

I had to replace the roof trim molding and fix one of the air bag covers after they replaced the windshield in my girlfriend's car. Not sure if that's the normal experience but I wasn't happy to say the least.
I had my '21 e-Tron windshield replaced by them. They used OEM brand and also calibrated everything. All I paid was my deductible, and so far so good. This was during the summer, so we'll see how the replacement holds up in the rain.
I didn't use this discount but used my auto insurance coverage to have Safelite fix a rock chip (smaller than my finger tip) for free. I'm not too happy with their job. Good news is they were quick (like 10 minutes). Bad news is, it left a cloudy spot where the chip used to be. Based on how quick they were, I'm guessing that they just pasted and rubbed resin in there, instead of using proper technique to vacuum seal it. The tech even said, "this is a structural fix, not a cosmetic fix." It was free, so I didn't complain, but had I known this, I would have done it myself with a $10 DIY kit.
I'm also adding that they've been spamming my email like crazy, and their email doesn't have unsubscribe button. I regret using them now.
I just gathered quotes from Safelite and from some local places, because the moulding around my 2013 BMW 328i windshield was dry and rotted, and the windshield itself was never that clear anyway. No cracks though.
Come to find out Safelite was about $150 more expensive than the rest and now they won't stop spamming me. Like a $25 promo code is going to change my mind?
I went with the middle quote of the local places and I'm satisfied (not delighted) with the quality of the work and the quality of the glass.
I am unhappy that State Farm didn't agree to replace with OEM ..Now, I have 'Fuyao' branded windshield on my rather expensive and new ( 2022 ) vehicle!
Heck, I had to fight'em to approve replacing the trims and clips!! Lexus clearly states those are not re-usable! ugh!
The installer did confirm that the sensors were properly calibrated, and I'm not seeing any issues just yet! However, keeping my eyes out!
I've never had a claim in all the years I've been driving and always been with State Farm ( 15 years for me, 25+ years for my mom/dad ) and this experience pisses me off every time I think of this whole ordeal.
All insurance is a racket, especially houses. They price the cheapest replacement materials. So you'll have to shell out $$$ for OEM or better materials.

The dealer did my car for $600 plus labor.
Both were cheaper than Safelite, even after the discount codes
Edit: Houston, TX
FYI - this is in CA
