I was looking for a swiveling replacement base for my LG 65C1 and found this one on sale for $34 on Walmart website. Free shipping at $35 so find yourself a $1 filler.
Looks solid, good reviews and Walmart has 90 day returns.
Regular price is $62, so this price is like 46% off.

One reason is cheaper TVs have tiny little legs at the very edges of the TV. If you want to fit a TV on a console that isn't as wide as the TV, you need something like this.
Yes, height is another reason. The LG C1 65" I have doesn't have enough clearance in front of it to fit a soundbar. Thankfully I have the option to install recessed ceiling speakers where I have it.
I have refrained from buying so many TVs because the feet are at the edges of the screen, wider than my TV stand.
Saw this same stand on Home Depot (I think) for over $130. Can't seem to find the link now
Thank you so much. Been looking for something like this but thought it didn't exist. Now only if they made one that was manually height adjustable like a monitor.......

One of the pics mentions 5 level height adjustment and looks like it might slide up and down. Hard to tell for sure. Guess I will find out

The pictures suggest 5.9" of vertical height adjustment, but that this height cannot be adjusted with lifting off the television/bracket (so being impractical to regularly adjust after installation).
Some Samsung tvs used a simular style of stand a few years ago, and some of their monitors still do. Wanted a swivel stand that's different from the norm. 🙏 it doesn't look cheap in person.

Can I ask why someone would buy this instead of just using the factory stand/legs on your TV? I guess you can gain a couple inches of height?

I may want one coz I have a Soundbar in front of my lg tv, the Soundbar is a bit too high so the bottom of the screen is blocked by about 1/8" if I laid down on sofa.😂

Because most tvs over the last few years have rinky dink legs, most of which are spread out wide, wider than the table/stand that it sits on.
Maybe because it looks dope
