Speaking specifically for the Van Heusen suits, the quality of their poly suits is pretty good, solid construction, and they hold up well. I've got some that are 5-10 years old. Off the rack fit is decent as well, but they are able to be tailored if necessary.
This is coming from someone who worked for PVH (Phillips Van Heusen) for 10 years.

the office. When did it become acceptable for 2 ton heifers to wear yoga pants, sandals with nasty feet, shower slides with dirty socks, etc, etc. Bravo to you if what you can afford is this suit from Macy's and your proudly wear it to work. Good job not looking the riff-raff slobs that are out there.
