Don't buy these cheap, round-head ratchet kits. If you are lucky you might get more than a couple of uses out of them before the ratchet fails. The best use for these would be if the factory that makes them installed a conveyor belt out the back and directly to a recycling center.

If you really need something this cheap, get one from Harbor Freight. Their cheap round-head ratchets are slightly better built and they come with a lifetime warranty and will be easy to swap out when they break.

Agree with the above comment. Brought the exact thing for my car last week but the quality is so poor the sockets dont stay attached and keeps falling out. Ended up just going to HF and getting their smaller set for much better experience.

Agree also. Ratchet slips, doesn't hold some sockets. Sockets suck too. Probably good for truck emergency kit only.

In an emergency, I would highly prefer a tool that works.

Too many holiday deals will be coming up on Craftsman and Kobalt sets to justify one of these sets as an emergency kit.

One of the reviews talks about it being "OK for under $10".

This one of the cheap 40 piece sets that has been sold for at least four decades. Except for the updated plastic case it could be the twin of one I had as a kid when they were $2.97. There is no reason to buy this specific brand except for price, and it's not that great.
