Love it. Use it whenever on a day out. Works as 15W MagSafe when wired and thanks to an update, is now 7.5W wireless. That now makes it as fast as any other 3rd party wireless chargers on the go - iPhones won't charge faster than 7.5W via Qi. But this charger can uniquely double as a 15W wireless MagSafe charger when wired, which others can't do.

Don't get confused like many reviewers: this is a smart battery designed for iPhone. It intentionally only charges the phone to around 90%, because batteries are less efficient at the last percentage. It gives you more for the capacity by topping off at a middle-high range instead of to 100%.

Additionally, I like that this battery detects when a device is placed on it (AirPods, iphone, etc). Most third party packs have a power button and won't be charging your device if you forget to press it.

Lastly, cool feature: this is the only device that can reverse charge from an iphone. Meaning when you plug in the iPhone to a fast charger while the battery pack is on, the iPhone will charge and THEN switch to wireless charging the battery pack itself. Very neat if you're traveling and only have one charging cable for the bedside.

I have one of the batteries. While it is nice that it connects using MagSafe, the rate it charges is so slow that it can't power the phone when connected. You must attach it, let the phone charge for quite a while, then use the phone until it dies, then repeat. Other external batteries charge fast enough to power a dead phone without having to wait.

These are more of a battery extender. If you connect this once your phone is at 1-10% you won't like how these work. They work much better if you slap it on when at 70-80% to extend your battery.

The price on this is still to high though. will purchase at $49.99

This is great for travel. When I knew I was going to be out all day exploring a new city and heavily using map and translation apps, having this pack was great since I knew it would keep me topped off through the end of the day. You're paying for form factor and convenience here, as a 10,000mah portable pack would be much cheaper and versatile but slightly more inconvenient having a cord connecting them.

I love it. Your battery in the phone suffers if overcharged or if left too long at a low voltage, so being able to keep at 90% is nice. When you consider the MagSafe charger is already $30-40, this makes a lot more sense.

Honestly I'd just go with the Anker version of this type of MagSafe portable charger. Plus much cheaper too.

Theirs is fine, but much less convenient despite the overall value. Worth noting this Apple battery pack doubles as a MagSafe charger at home, so it has more all around utility.

Good timing. I just traded my 12 pro for a 13 mini and I think the battery life is going to take a hit.

I just wish this had more than 1460Mah, but I realize Apple kept it small for form factor. iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 4352Mah battery, so under ideal conditions this adds ~34%, not all that great for the price.
