I bought it once new from walgreens for 10$ but I won't recommend at all..very heavy and ears starts paining after some time

Skullcandy's Jib True model series is confusing. The following is what I could deduce:

Jib True (version 1) was sold at Walgreen's for $10 back in 2020
Jib True XT2 later came out w/higher rated battery life and Tile compatibility, sold exclusively at Walmart
Jib True 2 is ?same as XT2 but sold at other retailers

So these are essentially Walmart returns, just FYI

For the price they're as good as it gets. I only use them as a backup at work so I don't have to leave my nice Jabra set art my desk. I forget to bring back the nice ones so I use these on zoom calls. Good enough.

Be careful some of these guys are undercover SD employees. Not saying rocket is but they would rather you buy something much more expensive since SD earns a percentage of most sales.

To offer a counterpoint. These are great budget buds. I've had mine since the $10 Walgreens deal. I find these to be far more comfortable than others I've tried. Sound quality is good enough. I ordered a second pair from woot just to have in the office.

I have the Jib True and the Jib 2 True. I got to say, I love the JIB. I only use it while listening to podcasts but the bluetooth survives 3 walls away from my computer. The Jib is louder than the 2 and has better range. The mic is pretty much useless outdoors as it picks up the wind. It's great indoors though but the mic does not survive 3 walls away from the device.

The Jib 2 has longer battery but the Jib is more than adequate I did not have to charge often. I also used both while taking a shower with no issues afterwards.

I would spend the extra money for a new pair, when you return these for warranty, skullcandy issues you a voucher code to buy new ones online. I'm guessing these are the ones repaired after warranty claim.

I like these so much I have at least 8 extra new pairs and will probably pick up more. I will not be embarrassed giving these as christmas pressies. I used aliexpress to get cheap silicone cases.

I have these from a woot deal. They are good for the price and much better than buying the fakes on Amazon. You get a few hours of run time before ear plugs needs recharging.

yup, great for $10. also got the JIB 2 from walgreens on a deal here for $10 several years ago. Fit great, weigh nothing. Sound isn't amazing (a little too bass heavy and the highs are not exactly crisp), and the call quality / latency on my iphone is mediocre at best, but the value at $10 is almost unbeatable and they're perfect for a beater / gym / workout pair.

I am a bit confused. I thought the Jib 2 True came out last April 2022. The Jib True came out in September 2020. The older Jibs are wired, I did hear those are good. Are those what you mean that you got for $10 from Walgreens?
