At this point Paramount should just make the add based tier free

If you have a currently active account, you won't be able to use this code until it expires. I have had to wait until the current month has lapsed before signing up for the next one. It doesn't matter when you actually "cancel" since they let you keep the rest of the trial, so you have to wait for the email that says your subscription has expired.

I got a year of this free and I never use it. Tons of commercials, many of which are not family friendly. Read the room Paramount. I don't want to see commercials about shaving pubs while watching I Love Lucy with my kids.

What's the last date to redeem this code, and still get 30 days to use P+?

They seemed to have timed this one to make you pay for the following month, if you are a fan of the series. Wait till Oct 10th to see if the code works after that. Going by release dates, the series will end November 10th. Or wait for the next offer. They have frequent trials.

My wife is a fan of this series. But I'll refrain from redeeming this code just yet. A 30- day trial is good enough to watch for the entire season. Will just wait for the next one.

I went to cancel this and they gave me another free month so two in total but did charge my card $1 initially so not sure trial is technically free.

My advice is to watch your account carefully. In the past, people who thought they got two free months found that the account updated a couple of days later to reflect only one free month and that they would be charged for the renewal.

They are more than happy to boost their "current subscribers" with a free month code every month and I'm sure they are selling whatever data they collect from you

Well that's partially true. Investors and share holders have wisened up. Every streaming service is now supposed to provide a break down paying vs trial subscriptions. Yes, it does boost overall numbers but it's only the 'paying subscriptions' number that matters to investors.

That being said, seemingly the multitude of paramount plus offers seems to be paying off for them. I read are doing considerably well with a marked increase in subscriptions. Doing much better than peacock service at least.

This is getting more like the old days of shoprunner or even SYWR free shipping. What's that???? you're about to expire, sure we'll toss in yet another free month. I have had this for about 8 months now (less a few days in lapse) and only paid for one month as I forgot to cancel it beforehand.

Sign up, use code, immediately cancel. Service remains for a month. Rinse and repeat. I've done this 3 months in a row now. I'm always just a couple days out of a plan when this refreshes.
