I pulled up brickstreet and it stated $149.99, but I thought I remembered seeing that those yellow tags mean nationwide cuts. Local Target had 5 in stock, brickstreet listed for $149.99 each, I made the drive and risked it, They were indeed $80, and I purchased 4 packages. Replacing all of my old school google points with 8 of the new ones, and I can get rid of a bunch of google home minis as well, all for $350.
FYI, because this includes a router in each package, if you are using this for an add-on, you can use the additional router as a stand alone wifi point, but it will also function with backhaul, and also allow you to plug a device or a dumb switch into it as well. The new wifi points do not have the ability to plug an ethernet cable into them, so this is probably the best deal that has ever been on this site dealing with google home wifi.

Any idea if these allow giving different SSIDs to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands? The eero I currently have uses the same SSID for both bands and some of my older 2.4Ghz devices are unable to connect - The eero allows turning off the 5Ghz temporarily and for those few minutes the 2.4Ghz devices do connect but as soon as Eero turns on the 5Ghz antenna, the 2.4Ghz devices are dropped again.
Good deal if you don't need 6e WiFi version that will be released in October. The 6e two pack will retail for $300.
There is pretty much zero practical use for 6e in a residential setting, unless you are doing some kind of crazy DB work from your laptop because you work from home. But those people will normally just run a cord. Plus, how many people have 2gb connections at their house? lol.

Maybe in 2030 6e will be practical.
This is why I stated"if you don't need 6e WiFi" and that this is a good deal. I'm keeping my hardwired backhaul WiFi 5 mesh system until it dies or a good deal with newer tech comes up.
