This impact wrench has an Auto shut off setting where you can tighten a lug nut without hammering on it. Then you can torque to spec after.

Needed to readjust my half fender on my semi. 1/2" bolt holding the adjustment clamp. Snapped the bolt. No it wasn't an old rusty bolt either. It was my first time using the gun instead of my pneumatic gun. So I watched some test videos. I didn't think it had that much power. I was wrong. It basically ties the makita, beats dewalt, and trails a little behind the Milwaukee high torque. For $160 and a 4ah hp battery this things a steal. Just be careful of the power.

PB Blaster and a torch if necessary. You're going to break all those apart with this.
I'm OK with that - I'm busting off rusted out nuts on ubolts, not lugnuts. Those ubolts have seen better days and are going to hit the bin unless they're in really good shape regardless.

Dewalt is a higher end brand that people pay more for. With it actually being cheaper, you should go with the Dewalt.

Yes, it is; especially if you do not have any HP batteries. I really want to buy this, money is tight and I have the 600 fpt one. This one is 1170fpt. More power!!!!
Cut me a deal on the P262 (if it's in good shape) and it could make your upgrade easier lol

The dewalt is depending on location. This is shipped right to your door.

If one is already invested in Ryobi this is a no brainer.

What do you think - rusty nuts on a boat trailer - doable, or too much to ask?
It's not going to do 1100+ft/lbs because no impact does it's "gotcha" spec listed on the box but it was tested at 725ft/lbs + if my memory of a certain YouTube review is correct.
Only you can decide if that's enough, I don't know rusty boat trailer nut specs.

Torque Test channel reviews both, results are similar

It is way to big to work inside the wheel well but the Ridgid subcompact 3/8" goes up to 250 ft-lbs and is great for confined spaces. Have done caliper bracket bolts, wheel hub bolts, etc with the subcompact and it's usually available for $99-ish.
