It's decent for gaming, missing wide gamut though at 99% srgb, which is respectable, but wide gamut just looks nice for alot of games.

wide gamut is 120-130% srgb.
120% SRGB monitors are extremely rare. I will be very surprised if you can link to a gaming monitor with 120% SRGB + 165hz.

Probably both. LCD is the panel tech. LED is the backlight tech.

Maybe large retailers offer an extended return period (usually from late October through early January) in order to account for holiday gift giving. So yeah instead of the standard 15-30 days you can return in mid January so effectively a three month return period.

Is this being a QHD and not 4k a factor to consider? I'm planning to upgrade my 3 1080ps that I use for work. Not sure if the resolution make a big difference. What do you guys think especially at this price point? pull the trigger or are we expecting 32" 4k IPS panels with a similar refresh ratio for black Friday?

Home office is my plan for two of these monitors. Operating off of a work laptop with cport that will support them. My goal is slim bezels, 400nits(bright), higher resolution than what I have, 32" size, ips panel(screen type). I rarely play games now days. My concerns are the text clarity, a few people have mentioned this. The 165 refresh rate won't be useful to me. Maybe I will play a first person shooter again some day. I do watch plex movies so maybe the HDR400 will help with video.

Currently I have used two 24" 1080p monitors for many years. They work fine. There is a fairly sizable bezel on them. I'm older now so brighter and bigger monitor seems like a good idea to me.

many of the gaming monitor deals lately have been 130% srgb , they're different va curved panel types, but i don't keep track of other monitors, i just know that wide gamut is very common at the $200 price now.

like this one here, it's pfs phosphor ~93% dcip3 which is equivalent of 130% srgb.

I got the last deal, bought 2. Great for home office (not really a gamer here). I just love the 32" for work, I just wished it had a USB slot for my monitor light but overall it's a good one!
